This week we visited our beloved pediatrician for Ava's 9 month well baby check up. I can't believe that our sweet baby girl is 9 months old already. Where does the time go? Ava is measuring bigger and better than ever! Literally! Ava's height is 30 inches, which puts her in the 99th percentile for ladies of her age. She weighed in at 19 pounds and 1 ounce, putting her in the 50th percentile; and finally her beautiful little head measured in the 75th percentile!
Jeff is convinced that we either have a super model, star volleyball player or super star softball pitcher on our hands. Dr. Bernal did several different dexterity tendency tests on Ava, since she is almost walking and passed her 9 month milestones at her 6 month checkup, and it looks like we are going to have a left handed lady on our hands. It doesn't matter to us at all, and this is all very pre-mature educated guesses, but when asked to reach for a number of objects, placed all around her, she always reached with her left hand. Also, when giving "High 5" or waving she does so with her left hand!
We took Ava this week for her 9 month pictures and had a fun time doing so. Ava is both girly and sporty, which she is going to have to be in this family! :) Happy 9 months sweet baby girl, you bring us so many laughs and smiles and can't wait for everything that is to come!
