Great Grandma and Grandpa T Meet Ava

Ava is quite a special lady to her Tettambel side of the family. (She is to her Miller side of the family as well, but what I am about to explain is for a different reason.)

Great Grandma and Grandpa T haven't had a girl in their family in many years! They are blessed with eleven Grandsons and their first Great Grandchild is Mason.

Ta da, low and behold: Ava. While visiting with Ava, Grandma mentioned more than once "I see her, I hear her, but I can't believe she's real! A girl in this family!"

We were so happy that while visiting Asheville for Mason's first birthday this past week, they got to make a day trip to Charlotte to meet the Princess. Here are just a few pictures from that day:

It wouldn't have been a photo session at our house without Pooh.

Great Grandma and Grandpa T thank you again for visiting with us and our girl. We can't wait to get her out to St. Louis to meet her Mid-Western side of the family!

First Baseball Game: April 17, 2010 - Eddie Miller was in town so we went to see the Charlotte Knights (We didn't get any pictures of our girl because she was so tired once we got there, that she slept through just about the whole game. Not to mention, she slept through kids screaming to win pizza and t-shirts, and she also slept through fireworks! This girl loves her shut eye!)

First Trip to the Pool - May 27, 2010 - We celebrated Mommy's birthday with an afternoon at the pool followed by San Antonio's Mexican for Dinner

First Trip to the Beach - May 29, 2010 - Sullivan's Island, Charleston, SC. AND SHE LOVED IT

First Trip to the National Whitewater Center - June 5, 2010 - Auntie Katie and Uncle Pat came to visit me from NOVA. We spent an afternoon at the Whitewater Center with all the puppies in tow!

First Trip to Balitmore - June 17, 2010 - We made the LONG drive to Baltimore to celebrate the Bridal Shower of Mommy's good friend Nicky Duprey, soon to be Nicky Seymour!
