Christmas is BY FAR my favorite time of year. Lots of people comlpain that stores and retail establishments start celebrating the holidays too early each year. Not me! I look forward, year after year, to that wonderful October day when I drive through Starbucks and I am handed a red cup with snow flakes on it, instead of the old standard white and green cup! Something about Christmas music, lights and sweet treats really just puts me in a fabulous mood. That being said, having a newborn at home, is no excuse for laziness with decorating for me! As previously posted, we have our christmas tree up and decorated and our house is decorated also! I wanted to put some pictures out there for everyone to see! These are just the inside of the house, I will edit the post later with a picture of the outside of the house when it's dark out and I can go to get a picture!
These pictures are also from my phone, so they aren't as clear as from my digital camera, but I find it so much easier to email myself pictures from my phone vs. uploading them from the ole camera!
Yes, I know what you're thinking... how does Ava have a stocking already? Well, call me crazy, but the night we got home from the hospital, all I could think about was how the Pottery Barn Free Shipping and Monogramming Sale was ending that same night... so after settling in with Ava I made sure to place that online order to take advantage of the better price! Speaking of Ava, it wouldn't be a blog post without a picture of her as well!!!!
This is potentially Jeff's proudest moment of Ava thus far! Only 2.5 weeks old and she's already made her first "wolfie" hand gesture! (For those of you who don't know, it's an NC State Wolfpack mascot thing, I only learned about it after my first State football game!!!)
