Ava turned two this Monday. We just can't believe where the time has gone..... but we are loving every single minute of it. I wanted to update Ava's Stats, but she won't be going to the pediatrician until Friday, so I'll update this post later on next weekend. Much like the Julie Andrew's song, I thought I'd list some of "Ava's Favorite Things".
Food:
Sweet Peas - Hence why we call her Sweetie P
Pizza - What we had on her shared birthday with Daddy!

Mandarin Oranges

Things She Says:
"More Fries" - as we drive past ANY Chick-fil-A
"De-Wish-Us" - after she eats ANYTHING, which translates to "delicious". The first time she said it was after she licked lotion off her arm, after bath time! Crazy girl!
"the guys" - when she is referring to our dogs, Ryleigh and Charlie
"school...yeah" - every morning, when she grabs her school bag - although she only goes on Friday mornings
"parch, puleeaze" - translates to "park, please"; she asks every day (which she goes almost every day) but even on rainy days.
"burrr, cold" - as soon as she gets out of the bath tub, she thinks we will keep her in there longer if she starts saying this!
"cheese-in" - when she is smiling really big for no apparent reason, we ask "Ava, what are you doing" and she replies "cheesin' " - I think this means we take her picture a little too often!
Ava has such an innocent and loving disposition. She loves to give hugs and kisses. She is the best hugger we could've ever asked for. Her warm nature makes everyone around her melt, especially us. Never in a million years did we imagine that we could love someone this much (other than each other), and it's amazing that every day, the love just grows exponentially.
