Happiest of Years

Last Sunday marked the second best day of the year for me, first obviously being Jeff and I's anniversary, Ava and Jeff's shared birthday. It truly is an amazing thing that they were born on the exact same day, 28 years apart and that Ava is basically an exact replica of her Daddy - just the lady like version! I won't write a ridiculously long post but I will just write this to one of my two favorite people in the world:

On November 14, 2009 you taught your Dad and I just how full of love and laughter life could be. We can't imagine a minute without your smile. We love you and this has been the happiest of years for us; we can't wait for many more.

Ava really made out like a bandit for her first birthday. She was gifted with a new Radio Flyer Wagon, Fisher Price Play and Learn Table, Fisher Price Sing and Play Snail, Baby Gap Clothes, REI Vest, Homemade bib, Gift Cards for new toys, contributions to her college savings account, big girl eating tools, new sippy cups, clothes, organic oversized toddler towels and Disney Stock! She is one lucky lady, and we thank all our friends and family who made Ava's birthday so extra special!

First Baseball Game: April 17, 2010 - Eddie Miller was in town so we went to see the Charlotte Knights (We didn't get any pictures of our girl because she was so tired once we got there, that she slept through just about the whole game. Not to mention, she slept through kids screaming to win pizza and t-shirts, and she also slept through fireworks! This girl loves her shut eye!)

First Trip to the Biltmore: May 1, 2010 - With Grandma T, Mommy and Daddy

First Time Meeting Grandma and Grandpa T - May 20, 2010

First Trip to the Pool - May 27, 2010 - We celebrated Mommy's birthday with an afternoon at the pool followed by San Antonio's Mexican for Dinner

First Trip to the Beach - May 29, 2010 - Sullivan's Island, Charleston, SC. AND SHE LOVED IT

First Trip to the National Whitewater Center - June 5, 2010 - Auntie Katie and Uncle Pat came to visit me from NOVA. We spent an afternoon at the Whitewater Center with all the puppies in tow!

First Trip to Balitmore - June 17, 2010 - We made the LONG drive to Baltimore to celebrate the Bridal Shower of Mommy's good friend Nicky Duprey, soon to be Nicky Seymour!

First Time Enjoying Crabs in the Summertime - June 18, 2010 with Uncle Mike (Ron) at Cantler's in Annapolis! Delicious.

First Trip to Lake Keowee - July 1, 2010 - FABULOUS trip with Uncle Matt, Auntie Caroline, Uncle Benny, Stevo, Annie, Brian, Auntie Becky, Maia and Kaci

First Forward Crawl - July 6, 2010 - Once Ava got moving, she hasn't stopped. Much like her jumperoo, her only speed is 100 mph!

First Trip to Atlanta for the Brewers Game and First MLB Game - Jul7 17, 2010 - Thanks Craig for the hospitality.

First Multiple Step Crawl - June 19, 2010 - She is taking the steps like a machine!!!!
